With over 23 years of experience in residential lending since October of 2002, Josh is a true professional. He understands that securing a mortgage is likely the largest financial commitment you may ever face. As the industry continues to commoditize the home buying process, Josh has a dedicated approach to treat your mortgage as a major financial decision. The difference between what a client “qualifies” for and what they can “afford” can be huge. By focusing on affordability, YOUR concerns become the top priority. Josh was born and raised on Capitol Hill, where his mom still lives in his same birth home. He currently lives in the Montlake neighborhood and is the proud father of an amazing son, who is a seventh generation Washingtonian. He graduated from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business with a BSM in Marketing. From 2011 to 2025, Josh humbly served one of the country’s oldest civil rights organizations as a Board Member of the PNW Regional Anti-Defamation League, holding numerous positions over the years. Additionally, Josh serves on the Board as Treasurer for ‘The Feels Foundation’ whose mission is to cultivate and nurture community and the creative brilliance of BIPOC artists. Josh previously served on the board of King County Youth Development Fund for almost two decades, providing support services and funds to abused and/or neglected youth. Being a lifetime season ticket holder to the Mariners, one might say Josh is deeply rooted with compassion and empathy as his driving values.
